The Queen's Lady

This is the second book in a series by Eve Edwards that follows the lives of the Lacey's, a rich Elizabethan family. This one is about Lady Jane, her husband is dead and she is sent to be a lady to Queen Elizabeth I. She is delighted at the new arrival at court, James Lacey, a man that she has always loved even though she was betrothed to his older brother.
But when James goes to America to clear his head of the terrible things he has seen, Lady Jane's father and brother has other ideas about who Jane should marry.
Will James come to rescue of his Lady?
It's a good book if you romance and History, or if you just like a good Tudor style book. I advise you should read the first one first (don't make the same mistake as me!)

The Other Countess

and if you liked these two, why not read the third book? The Rogue's Princess.
